Veyo provided a unique setting, and offered our attendees the opportunity to overcome a fear of heights…

Attendees of BridgeCamp’s first event at Veyo Pools were treated to an amazing experience, and we couldn’t have been more pleased with how it went.

In typical BridgeCamp fashion, we adventured, served, worked, and learned - together. Attendees were immersed in Veyo’s natural beauty, tried their hands at crawdad hunting, enjoyed the amazing natural springs of the area, and relaxed deck-side at the amazing pool. However, the highlight of the camp was undoubtedly the time that we spent with our feet off of the ground. Veyo is world-renowned in the climbing community for its 230+ pre-anchored climbing routes, and we were thrilled to have guided access to many of these routes.

Our attendees climbed, rappelled, and reached unforeseen heights while working as teams. These teams worked together to ensure one another’s safety, and that they achieved the climbing goals that they set out to tackle. Despite not being climbing “experts”, these teams achieved amazing results through communication and trust.

When back on the ground, BridgeCamp’s team of counseling experts held meaningful conversations and dialogues that forged stronger bonds between our attendees. These daily conversations and workshops are designed specifically to bring a heightened sense of connection and stronger relationships.
