Parents and Teens Bond at Veyo

What did we do at the event?

Our recent BridgeCamp at Veyo Pool in Southern Utah was an unforgettable blend of adventure, connection, and personal growth. Parents and teens engaged in a series of guided activities—including rock climbing, cold water plunges, swimming, and reflective conversations—all designed to strengthen their bonds in meaningful ways. The stunning natural setting of Veyo Pool provided the perfect mix of excitement and tranquility, creating an ideal space for shared experiences.

Throughout the camp, we witnessed powerful moments of trust and resilience as families stepped outside their comfort zones together. Whether conquering a climb, embracing the exhilarating shock of the cold water, or working side by side in service projects, every activity reinforced teamwork, empathy, and open communication. These shared challenges paved the way for deeper conversations, fostering understanding and connection between parents and their teens.

The dedicated Veyo staff played an essential role in ensuring a smooth and enriching experience. Despite the warm weather, the shaded areas, refreshing pool, and flowing river offered a cool retreat, making for a comfortable and enjoyable weekend. The natural beauty and well-kept facilities at Veyo Pool proved to be the perfect setting for our BridgeCamp experience.

As we reflect on this incredible camp, we are inspired by the transformations we witnessed and the heartfelt feedback from participants. This event reaffirmed our mission of strengthening parent-teen relationships through adventure, service, and meaningful dialogue. We are excited to build on this momentum and look forward to many more impactful BridgeCamp experiences in the future.
