What did we do at the event?

We recently had the privilege of hosting an incredible BridgeCamp at the breathtaking Camp Oakley in Kamas, Utah. Just minutes from the stunning Wasatch Mountains and the world-class resorts of Park City, this beautiful setting provided the perfect backdrop for three days of adventure, learning, and connection.

Parents and teens engaged in a dynamic mix of activities designed to challenge, inspire, and strengthen their relationships. Through hands-on service projects, interactive workshops, and thrilling outdoor adventures, families had the opportunity to step away from their daily routines and focus on building deeper, more meaningful connections.

The camp experience was carefully structured to encourage personal growth, teamwork, and communication. Participants attended engaging seminars that covered essential life skills such as problem-solving, emotional resilience, and effective communication—providing valuable tools that extend far beyond the camp experience. These sessions, combined with shared challenges and reflective discussions, helped parents and teens gain new perspectives on their relationships and themselves.

Of course, no BridgeCamp would be complete without plenty of outdoor adventure! The surrounding mountains became our playground, offering everything from hiking and ropes courses to exhilarating zip-lining. These shared experiences pushed participants outside their comfort zones, reinforcing trust, resilience, and teamwork in ways that only adventure can.

As our time at Camp Oakley came to an end, the sense of accomplishment and connection among participants was undeniable. Families left not only with unforgettable memories but also with strengthened bonds, a renewed sense of understanding, and a deeper appreciation for one another.

BridgeCamp at Camp Oakley was another remarkable step in our ongoing mission to foster meaningful parent-teen relationships through adventure, service, and shared learning. We’re grateful for the experiences we shared and look forward to many more transformative camps in the future!
